Rockets playing well
Houston is coming off a 119-108 win over Sacramento last week at home. The Rockets have won seven of their last nine games and covered the spread in three of their last four. The Rockets are 49-28 on the season, 20-18 on the road, 36-38-3 against the spread and 40-36-1 with the under. Houston is currently fourth in the West, but tied with Portland for third with 5 games remaining.
The Rockets are putting up 112.9 points per game on offense this season while shooting 44.7 percent from the field. Defensively, Houston is giving up 109.4 points per game while allowing opponents to shoot 46.8 percent against them. James Harden is leading the team with 36.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game while Clint Capela is adding 16.6 points and 12.6 rebounds per contest.
Kings win at San Antonio
The Kings are coming off a 113-106 win at San Antonio on Sunday to snap a two-game road trip. Sacramento lost three of its last five on its road trip. Sacramento is 38-39 on the season, 23-15 at home, 44-32-1 against the spread and 38-38-1 with the over/under total.

NBA Betting Trends
Houston
The Rockets are 3-0-1 against the spread in their last four conference games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a losing team.
Sacramento
The Kings are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games against a team with a winning road record and 13-5-1 ATS in their last 19 home games.
Prediction:
Houston has won and covered the spread in all three meetings with Sacramento this season, including a game at Sacramento on Feb. 6. The Rockets picked up a double-digit win over the Kings last week and I think their offense will be able to hang with Sacramento tonight. The Rockets can actually get some stops on defense, while the Kings won’t be able do the same. Houston will want to lock up the third seed and avoid Golden State as long as it can. I think they play quite well tonight.
NBA Prediction: Houston Rockets -5.5
