Pistons, Bulls meet in big clash
The Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons meet up tonight in a key game in the Eastern Conference playoff picture. Who will come out on top at 8PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Chicago is the slight favorite at home, as the Bulls are getting odds of -2.5 points against the Pistons. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 204.5 points.
Chicago is 38-37 overall, 24-14 at home and 32-43 against the spread. Detroit is 40-36 overall, 15-22 on the road and 38-36-2 against the spread. The Pistons currently are in the seventh spot in the East while the Bulls are in the ninth slot, 1.5 games behind Detroit and 1 game behind Indiana. These two have met three times this season with Detroit getting two of the three wins. The Pistons are 5-1 against the spread in their last six against the Bulls.
The Pistons are coming off a 98-89 loss to the Mavericks at home last night, but they have won six of their last eight. The Bulls are coming off back-to-back wins over Houston and Indiana on the road, with the win over the Rockets coming on Thursday. Somewhat surprisingly, the Pistons are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games on no rest while the Bulls are 6-14 ATS in their last 20 games on 1 day of rest. Detroit looked poor last night at home and will bounce back strong tonight with SVG as their coach. Look for them to get a big win in Chicago.
