Bucks vs. Warriors Pick
Are the Milwaukee Bucks going to keep it competitive and put a scare into the host Golden State Warriors tonight when they play at 10:30PM ET?
709 Milwaukee Bucks at 710 Golden State Warriors, 10:30PM ET
According to oddsmakers at YouWager, the Warriors are listed as a 5-point favorite on the spread line. The total sits at 215.5 points.
Golden State opened as a 5.5 point favorite before it came down to -5, while the total has risen from 213.5. The spread is -5 at most books, but can also be found at both -4.5 and -5.5. The total is 215 at most sportsbooks, yet it can also be bet at 215.5.
As of Thursday afternoon, an even 50 percent of public bets have been placed on the Bucks and the Warriors. Online wager info also says that 51 percent of bets are coming in on the under.
INJURY TO WATCH
Milwaukee center Thon Maker (groin) is doubtful to play tonight. Shooting guard Malcolm Brogdon (quadricep) is out until early April, while point guard Matthew Dellavedova (ankle) is out indefinitely. For Golden State, Kevin Durant (ribs) and Draymond Green (pelvis) are both probable. Small forward Omri Casspi (ankle) and small forward Chris Boucher (ankle) are both questionable. Shooting guard Klay Thompson (thumb) remains out, while point guard Steph Curry (ankle) is out until late April.
Golden State will obviously benefit from the return of Durant and Green tonight, although at least the former might be on a minutes restriction. The Warriors had their way in the first meeting this season as it won 108-94, while it topped the Bucks 117-92 last season in the contest at Golden State. Milwaukee lost 105-98 two nights ago in the first game of its West Coast swing, while the Warriors' recent struggles have mostly had to due with injuries. Until Curry comes back, they won't be a complete package. But they're still pretty darn good with at least Durant and Green available. I'm going to say the Warriors get back on track here and cover the spread.
