Los Angeles Lakers Fantasy Spin
LeBron James racked up 36 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals and two 3-pointers on 15-of-23 shooting in 33 minutes of Tuesday’s easy win over the Bulls. Well what do you know? The Lakers broke a five-game losing streak and veterans LeBron, Kyle Kuzma, Rajon Rondo, JaVale McGee and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope all played really well in this one. The Lakers’ playoff dreams are dead and they’re going to be very unpredictable going forward, as the veterans will eventually take a backseat to the kids. But for now, if you get word that the vets are going to play, go ahead and get them in your lineup. The Lakers have a back-to-back set on Thursday & Friday, and there’s a pretty good chance LeBron may miss one of those games, although coach Luke Walton hasn’t made his mind up about that situation just yet.
Toronto Raptors Fantasy Spin
Kyle Lowry (left ankle) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice. Most of the vets did not practice on Wednesday, and while Lowry’s ankle is a bit sore, head coach Nick Nurse said he didn’t anticipate this being something that will force him to miss any games. For now, we’ll consider Lowry probable for Thursday’s matchup with the Lakers.
