Are the Los Angeles Lakers going to take advantage of the host Golden State Warriors being without many key players tonight when they meet at 10:30PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at YouWager, the Warriors are a 6.5-point favorite on the spread line. The total is set at 223.5 points.

Golden State opened as a 7.5-point favorite before the line was trimmed by a point, while the total has come down from 226 points. The spread is at -6.5 almost everywhere now, but can still be found at -7. The total is at 224 at most books and can even be found at 224.5, while if you want to bet the over YouWager is the right book to do it at.

As of Wednesday afternoon, 52 percent of public bets are siding with the visiting Lakers. Online wager info also states that 65 percent of bets are coming in on the over.

Lakers power forward Channing Frye (appendix) and small forward Brandon Ingram (hip flexor) are both out until late March. For the Warriors, Klay Thompson (wrist) is expected to miss a couple of weeks. Point guard Stephen Curry (ankle) is out until late March, while Draymond Green (shoulder) is also out. Center Jordan Bell (ankle), Andre Iguodala (wrist) and shooting guard Nick Young (arm) are all expected to play. David West (arm cyst) is out.

The Lakers have played Golden State tough in all three meetings this season, covering the spread all three times and losing twice in overtime at home. The loss at Golden State was a respectable 113-106 decision. With three of the Warriors' big four being out for this game, I have serious interest on the Lakers. Kevin Durant is surely going to have a huge night with so much extra usage flowing his way, but Los Angeles has been playing competitve basketball with everyone lately. The biggest worry with LA is that it is playing on a back-to-back after defeating Denver 112-103 at home last night, while it is also their third game in four nights following a 127-113 home win over the Cavaliers Sunday night. But there are enough young players on the Lakers that it isn't quite as big of an issue. Los Angeles is playing with a tremendous amount of confidence right now, so ride it while it's hot.
