Can Spurs stay hot at home vs. Thunder?
Two of the best in the West meet up tonight when the San Antonio Spurs host the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight at 8:30PM ET.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Spurs are the favorite at home tonight, as they are getting odds of -8.5 points against the Thunder. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 210 points.
San Antonio is 55-10 on the season, 31-0 at home and 39-26 against the spread. Oklahoma City is 44-21 overall, 18-12 on the road and 26-38-1 against the spread. The Thunder won the lone meeting this season, 112-106 at home, but the Spurs have won and covered in four of the last six in this series.
The Thunder are coming off a surprising 99-96 loss at home to the T’Wolves last night and they are just 3-5 in their last eight. OKC is just 4-7 ATS this season with no rest and they head to San Antonio, where the Spurs haven’t lost and they are 20-11 against the spread. San Antonio has had its last eight wins come by 8 points or more, so when they win, they tend to win big. Given OKC got the win in the first meeting, the Spurs shouldn’t have any trouble getting up for this game.
