Jazz vs. Pelicans Pick
807 Utah Jazz at 808 New Orleans Pelicans, 4PM ET
According to oddsmakers at YouWager, the Jazz are listed as a 12.5-point favorite on the spread line. The total has not yet been releaased.
The overnight line was still off the board at most books. Expect the line to possibly move drastically as availability news on Pelicans star Anthony Davis comes in during the hours before tip-off. His status will have a great impact on the line and the total.

INJURY TO WATCH
Utah has two players out for the season - small forward Thabo Sefolosha (torn MCL) and point guard Dante Exum (shoulder surgery). For the Pelicans, Davis is questionable with a sprained ankle.
The Pelicans had their 10-game winning streak snapped last game with a 116-97 home loss to the Wizards. The absence of Davis played a significant role. Utah enters on a five-game win streak of its own and has not allowed more than 91 points to any of its last four opponents. The Jazz won the last meeting in New Orleans on Feb. 5 by a 133-109 score. Don't expect quite as many total points this time around if Davis is out again, while the Jazz' slow tempo and outstanding defense should frustrate New Orleans. The line seems too big for my liking, but look for points to be a struggle for at least the Pelicans today which should be enough to keep the total under its projection.
