Clippers end win streak

The Clippers saw their six-game win streak come to an end on Sunday in a 112-103 loss at home to the Lakers. Los Angeles is 43-20 on the season, 18-13 on the road, 34-29 against the spread and 34-28-1 with the under.

Los Angeles is putting up 116 points per game on offense this season while shooting 46.4 percent from the field. Defensively, Los Angeles is giving up 109.7 points per game while opponents shoot 43.6 percent from the field. Kawhi Leonard is leading the team with 26.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists per contest. Paul George is adding 21.1 points and 5.9 rebounds per contest.

Warriors alternating wins and losses

Golden State is coming off a 118-114 win at home over Philadelphia on Saturday despite Stephen Curry being out due to the flu. The Warriors have won three of their last five while covering in four of the five games. Golden State is 15-49 on the season, 8-25 at home, 31-33 against the spread and 35-29 with the under.

Golden State is putting up 106.3 points per game on offense this season while shooting just 43.8 percent from the field. Defensively, the Warriors are allowing 114.8 points per game while opponents shoot 47.6 percent from the field. Curry is still questionable to go tonight due to the flu while Draymond Green remains out with a knee injury. Curry averages 20.8 points, 6.6 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game to lead the way. Andrew Wiggins is adding 19.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per contest.

NBA Betting Trends

Los Angeles

The Clippers are 10-1 against the spread in their last 11 Tuesday games and 25-9 ATS in their last 34 games following a loss.

Golden State

The Warriors are just 2-6 against the spread in their last eight home games, but 6-2 ATS in their last eight Tuesday games.

Prediction:

The Clippers have won both meetings with the Warriors this season, picking up a 19-point win at Golden State back in October. Los Angeles clearly is the better team here, but the Clippers have had some letdown performances before. However, the Warriors just aren’t a team to trust. Even with Curry playing, the Warriors haven’t looked very good. There isn’t much chemistry on the floor. Without Curry, Golden State just doesn’t have the offense to compete with the Clippers. I expect Los Angeles to defend and shoot its way to a cover.

NBA Prediction: Los Angeles Clippers -11.5
