INJURY TO WATCH
San Antonio center Pau Gasol (shoulder) missed the last game and is questionable to play tonight. Kawhi Leonard (quadricep) is targeting a late March return. For the Thunder, shooting guard Terrance Ferguson (head injury) is questionable. Fellow shooting guard Andre Roberson (ruptured patellar tendon) is out for the season.
San Antonio is only 3-7 in its last 10 games, a rare stretch for one of the NBA's most consistently good teams. The Spurs are 5-5 ATS during that stretch. Oklahoma City rebounded from a pair of losses in difficult matchups to defeat the visiting Suns 115-87 in its last game. The Thunder are only 3-7 ATS in their last 10 contests. So you have a couple of teams here that aren't playing their best basketball. Russell Westbrook is due for an other-wordly game and perhaps it happens here versus a San Antonio squad that has allowed at least 110 points in three of its last four games, albeit all against up-tempo teams. Paul George said to the media yesterday that OKC's players know where it stands in the playoff picture right now and it must take care of its business going forward. This would be a quality win against a Spurs team that is well-respected around the NBA. Look for the Thunder to make a statement today.
