Cleveland Cavs DFS Spin
Donovan Mitchell played 47 minutes in Monday’s 118-114 overtime win over the Celtics, scoring 40 points (14-of-34 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs) with 11 rebounds, four assists, one block, and four 3-pointers. Mitchell was a game-time decision for Monday’s game due to a sprained finger on his left hand but was ultimately cleared after going through his pregame routine without any issues. He didn’t shoot the ball as well as he may have liked, but Spida still came through with his eighth game of 40 points or more this season. Mitchell has been a top-10 player in 9-cat formats over the last three weeks and is closing in on 1st-round value for the season as a whole. Caris LeVert, who would have started if Mitchell were ruled out, played 32 minutes off the bench and finished with seven points, seven rebounds, four assists, two steals, three blocks, and one 3-pointer.
Miami Heat DFS Spin
Jimmy Butler led the Heat with 26 points (8-for-14 FGs, 10-for-12 FTs), nine rebounds and nine assists in a 130-128 win over Atlanta on Monday. Butler wasn’t aggressive with his shot in Saturday’s matchup with Atlanta, as he only scored 15 points on eight shot attempts. However, it was enough for the Heat to get the win. They needed the dominant Jimmy Butler on Monday, and that’s what they got as he nearly recorded a triple-double. The Heat stay at home for two games against Cleveland on Wednesday and Friday. Butler will look to maintain all-around production to help the Heat make up ground in the East.
