Wizards covering coming off losses
After an ugly loss in Cleveland on Friday night, can the Wizards rebound tonight when they host the Pacers at 7:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, Washington is a 2-point home favorite versus Indiana after opening as a 2.5-point fave. As for the total, the number opened at 208 but has dropped a half point to 207.5.
The Wizards have been fantastic coming off a loss, covering the spread 18 times in their last 24 opportunities following a defeat. They’ve also covered in five of their last six home games, are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games versus Central opponents and are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games versus a team with a losing road record. (The Pacers are 14-19 on the road this season.)
After he jammed his foot/ankle in Friday night’s loss against the Cavs, John Wall should be good to go against the Pacers, who are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games overall. Indiana has also struggled at the betting window when playing on back-to-back nights, covering just twice in nine opportunities.
