Visiting team enters Chi-Town on sour note
Doc Rivers’ Clippers seem to be fading at the worst time imaginable. Can Chicago further amplify their frustration level this evening?
In a nationally televised affair, the two squads will tip off at 8:30 p.m. ET. Online sports book Bovada.lv gives Los Angeles odds of -140 to snap out of its malaise. The Bulls, on the other hand, represent +120 underdogs.

After crusiing through the better part of February, the Clips have dropped two straight and four of five. Last night’s 112-101 loss at Milwaukee included a season-high 23 turnovers. Blake Griffin was responsible for five of those miscues, while Chris Paul coughed up the rock on four occasions.
Needless to say, Rivers’ leaders must be considerably sharper in the Windy City. After a 94-87 upset of Golden State on Thursday, Chicago suddenly feels quite confident about its playoff prospects. Fred Hoiberg’s troops boast a 19-12 record at home, with only a handful of Eastern Conference clubs faring better.
Still, we figure that the visitors will perform a complete about-face shortly. They’re in dire need of an authoritative performance away from Staples Center, and what better way to regain momentum than by knocking off a surging foe? Lean toward Los Angeles.
