Will the Bucks snap out of thier funk?
The Bucks are slumping but they should overcome their recent woes tonight when they host the Timbewolves at 8:00PM ET tonight.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Bucks are 4.5-point home favorites over the Timberwolves while the over/under is sitting at 213.5 points. As our NBA odds page shows, the total opened at 212.5 before climbing a full point whereas the side has stayed at Milwaukee -4.5.
The Bucks clawed back into Wednesday night's game against the Pacers but eventually fell 104-99 as a 3-point underdog. That was the third time in four games Milwaukee suffered defeat and the second time in three games that the Bucks failed to cover the spread. That said, there's reason for optimism heading into tonight's date with the T-Wolves.
Jabari Parker is averaging 22.8 points on 52.8 percent shooting, eight rebounds and three assists since the All-Star break. His role has expanded and he's quickly developing into a playmaker for Milwaukee.
Giannis Antetokounmpo also had 22 points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal and a blocked shot versus the Pacers while playing point guard and seeing as how Jason Kidd likes him as a primary ball-handler, Antetokounmpo should stay in that role.
The Bucks have covered the spread in four of their last five games coming off a loss while the Timberwolves are winless at 0-4 at the betting window in their last four games versus Milwaukee. The Bucks should rebound tonight against a Minnesota team that is just 9-21 on the road this season.
