Dallas Mavericks DFS Notes

Luka Doncic dropped in 34 points on 10-of-21 shooting in Sunday's comeback win over the Warriors, adding 11 rebounds, two assists, three triples, two steals, one block and an unfortunate nine turnovers over 37 minutes. Doncic was incredibly sloppy with the rock in this one, matching his career-high in turnovers while only handing out two assists, but the Mavericks still managed to pull off a comeback win despite an 18-10 turnover margin. Doncic did salvage his stat line with the points, triples and stocks, and he finished 11-of-12 at the stripe, so we’ll forgive him for the copious number of turnovers in this one.

Los Angeles Lakers DFS Notes

LeBron James scored 32 points on 13-of-23 shooting (1-of-4 3-pointers) and added six rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks, and seven turnovers as the Lakers got blown out by the Pelicans on Sunday night. The Lakers got embarrassed at home on Sunday and by the end of it, the fans were booing at the newly named Arena. For King James though, it was another night at the office, and Sunday was his 500th career 30-point game. This is the third-most in NBA history trailing just Wilt Chamberlain (515) and Michael Jordan (562). Russell Westbrook shot 5-of-15 from the floor (6-of-7 3-pointers) and added six rebounds, one assist, one steal, and seven turnovers in 28 minutes. Carmelo Anthony added 13 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the floor (1-of-5 3-pointers) with five rebounds, one assist, and one block in 30 minutes off the bench.
