Magic trying to heat up
Orlando is coming off a 136-125 win at home over Minnesota last night for a third straight win and cover. The Magic have actually won five of their last six. Orlando is 27-32 on the season, 11-18 on the road, 26-31-2 against the spread and 29-27-3 with the under.
The Magic are only averaging 105.1 points per game on offense this season while shooting just 43.7 percent from the field. Defensively, Orlando is giving up just 106.4 points per game while holding opponents to 45.9 percent from the field. Nikola Vucevic is leading the team with 19.2 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. Evan Fournier is adding 18.9 points and 3.2 assists per contest.
Spurs fall at home
San Antonio returned home from an 8-game road trip and suffered a 109-103 loss at home to Dallas on Wednesday. The Spurs are now 24-33 on the season, 14-13 at home, 24-32-1 against the spread and 34-22-1 with the over.
The Spurs are putting up 112.8 points per game on offense this season while shooting 46.8 percent from the field. Defensively, San Antonio is allowing 114.5 points per game while opponents shoot 46.8 percent from the field. LaMarcus Aldridge remains out for the Spurs with a shoulder injury. He averages 18.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. DeMar DeRozan is leading the team with 22.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists per contest.

Prediction:
Orlando won the first meeting with San Antonio this season at home back in November. While the Magic are playing pretty well as of late, I don’t feel great about tonight. The Magic are coming off a game last night and had to travel to San Antonio. Their offense has been locked in, but I suspect that it will return to form with tired legs. I don’t expect their defense to hold up well against a smaller San Antonio lineup tonight. While not having Aldridge in the paint could be an issue, I don’t think Vucevic can take over a game enough for Orlando to grab the win on the road.
NBA Prediction: San Antonio Spurs -2
