Thunder vs. Kings Prediction
The Thunder are heavy favorites tonight against the Kings in Sacramento but are they being overvalued by oddsmakers?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Oklahoma City is now a 9-point road favorite at Sacramento tonight while the over/under is sitting at 228 points. The Thunder opened as 7.5-point favorites over the Kings while the total opened at 227.5, so there has been some movement. (Track and shop NBA lines at our odds page.)

Here’s why the Thunder might be overvalued tonight by oddsmakers. In their last 12 road games they’ve covered the spread just twice and in their last four games versus the Kings they’re 0-4 ATS. OKC is also just 5-15-1 against the number in its last 21 games playing on one day of rest.
One of the reasons the Kings are such a heavy underdog tonight is the fact that they’ve stunk at the betting window themselves (3-11 ATS in their last 14 games overall). Rajon Rondo is also questionable due to a thumb injury, which is likely why the line moved.
But DeMarcus Cousins continues to play well and should be able to carry the Kings again tonight if Rondo is once again sidelined. It’ll be tough for Sacramento to beat OKC straight up but they’ll have a big enough head start with the nine points to keep the game relatively close.
