Thunder on a win streak
Oklahoma City is riding a five-game win streak right now following a 112-108 win at home over the Kings last night. The Thunder have failed to cover in their last two wins. OKC is 37-22 on the season, 17-10 on the road, 38-21 against the spread and 30-28-1 with the under.
The Thunder are putting up 111.3 points per game this season while shooting 47.4 percent as a team. Defensively, OKC is allowing 108.1 points per game while opponents are shooting 45.6 percent from the field. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is leading the team with 19.4 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Chris Paul is adding 17.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.7 assists per contest.
Bucks keep rolling
Milwaukee is coming off a 108-97 win at Toronto on Tuesday for a fourth straight victory. The Bucks have covered in three of their last four games. Milwaukee is now 50-8 on the season, 26-3 at home, 34-24 against the spread and 29-28-1 with the over.
The Bucks have the league’s top offense, averaging 119.8 points per game while shooting 48.1 percent from the field. Defensively, Milwaukee is allowing just 107.6 points per game while holding opponents to only 41.2 percent shooting. Giannis Antetokounmpo is leading the team with 29.7 points, 13.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game. Khris Middleton is adding 21.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest.
NBA Betting Trends
Oklahoma City
The Thunder have covered the spread in nine straight games when on no rest and they are 22-6 ATS in their last 28 road games.
Milwaukee
The Bucks are 7-1 against the spread in their last eight games as a favorite and 20-8 ATS in their last 28 Friday games.
Prediction:
These two met back in November, with Milwaukee getting a 121-119 win on the road. The Thunder have covered in five of their last six against the Bucks. There’s a lot of reasons to like Milwaukee tonight, but the Thunder have a pretty incredible record against the spread on no rest. They have covered in every back-to-back game this season and are riding a win streak right now. The Thunder seem to raise their game against good teams and have letdowns against the bad ones. I think they will come out and play hard against Milwaukee, which is in cruise control right now on the way to the top seed in the East.
NBA Prediction: Oklahoma City Thunder +10.5
