Jazz at Nuggets Spread Prediction
The Nuggets have won seven of their last 10 games and are coming off a convincing win over the Thunder, but they're also laying a big number as a home favorite Thursday night versus the visiting Jazz. Will Denver continue to post big wins at home or is Utah a good play at the window?

Our NBA Live Odds page pulls spreads and totals from multiple different online sportsbooks so you can compare betting odds to ensure you’re getting the best line.
Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Nuggets are 7-point favorites to beat the Jazz. The total, meanwhile, sits at 223.5 points and as of this writing, 60% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Nuggets to cover the point spread.
Utah Jazz Fantasy Spin
Donovan Mitchell scored a game-high 32 points with four rebounds, four assists, one block, six turnovers and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes during a 111-105 win over the Clippers on Wednesday. He was super aggressive, making 10-of-22 from the field and 9-of-12 from the line in this win. Ricky Rubio (hamstring) is dealing with tightness, and that could mean bigger stats for Mitchell. Per 36 with Rubio on the bench, Mitchell sits at 27.0 points, 4.7 boards, 5.4 dimes, 1.6 steals and 2.2 treys. He has been rolling and is showing no signs of slowing down.
Denver Nuggets Fantasy Spin
Nikola Jokic hit 11-of-25 shots, 4-of-7 3-pointers and 10-of-13 free throws on his way to 36 points, nine rebounds, 10 assists and a block in Tuesday's 121-112 win over the Thunder. He was greeted with MVP chants every time he stepped to the line and basically had his way with Steven Adams tonight. Jokic has been a fantasy monster all season and sits at No. 10 in nine-cat leagues. He'll look to keep it going against the Jazz and Rudy Gobert on Thursday.
NBA Betting Trends
The Jazz are 15-5-1 against the spread in their last 21 games following a failed cover in their previous game.
The Nuggets are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games overall and have covered in 23 of their previous 32 home games.
When I first saw this line, I thought it was inflated. Why lay seven points in a competitive matchup? That said, more times than not when you fight against something that looks like a trap you’ll have success at the betting window. Yes, this is a lot of points to lay in a game between two quality teams. But the Nuggets have been dominant at the Pepsi Center this season. The Nuggets are 22-9 against the spread at home this season, winning by an average margin of 12.2 and covering by 5.5 points per contest. As a home favorite, Denver is 20-8 against the number and has won by an average margin of 14.1 (+6.5 ATS). The home team is also 13-3 at the betting window in the last 16 meetings between these two teams, the favorite is 49-24-3 against the spread in the last 76 meetings and the Jazz are winless at 0-5 ATS in its last five trips to Denver.
Thursday NBA Prediction: Denver Nuggets -7
