76ers vs. Thunder Prediction
The Thunder will look to avoid losing a third consecutive game when they host a struggling 76ers team Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. ET. Philadelphia will once again be without Joel Embiid but with both teams struggling, is there value in the underdog Sixers?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Thunder are 7.5-point favorites to beat the 76ers. The total, meanwhile, sits at 238.5 points and as of this writing, 64% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the 76ers to cover the point spread.
Philadelphia 76ers Fantasy Spin
Joel Embiid (sore left knee) will not play on Thursday against the Thunder. Embiid has yet to be re-evaluated, but that is expected to happen in the coming days, at which point we’ll have a better idea of where he’s at in his recovery from the sore knee. There’s a chance he’ll be able to return to the floor for Saturday’s game against the Warriors, but the 76ers will assuredly be extra cautious in bringing him back. Boban Marjanovic (knee) will also be unavailable for Thursday’s game, so we’d expect Jonah Bolden, Mike Scott and Amir Johnson to split most of the five-man minutes. Tobias Harris, Ben Simmons and Jimmy Butler will also be more involved on offense.
Oklahoma City Thunder Fantasy Spin
Russell Westbrook hit 8-of-14 shots and two 3-pointers for 22 points, 14 rebounds, nine assists and seven turnovers in Tuesday’s 121-112 loss to the Nuggets. He just missed a triple-double by one assist and shot it well, but he turned it over too much tonight. Westbrook appeared to injure an ankle in the second half, but stayed in the game and played through it. He might be a little gimpy in the morning, but odds are he’ll be ready to roll against the Sixers on Thursday night.
NBA Betting Trends
Philadelphia
The 76ers are 1-4 against the spread in their last five games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.
Oklahoma City
The Thunder are 7-3 at the betting window in their last 10 games when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game.
Prediction
The Sixers have won three of their last four games, but they’ve also dropped three straight at the betting window. That said, this is the first time since Embiid has been out that Philly isn’t overvalued at the window. The Sixers failed to cover as a 5.5-point favorite, as a 1.5-point favorite, and as a 2-point favorite. With Philly as an underdog and OKC not playing its top game, this is a good spot to flip the script with the Sixers. The Thunder are winless against the spread in their last four games and are 0-4 ATS in their last four games after allowing 100 points or more in their previous contest.
