Kings actually on a win streak
Sacramento is on a surprising three-game win streak since the break, which includes a win at the Clippers last weekend. The Kings are 24-33 overall, 12-18 on the road, 29-27-1 against the spread and 30-27 with the over.
The Kings are putting up 108.4 points per game on offense, while shooting 45.8 percent from the field. Defensively, Sacramento is giving up 110.6 points per game while opponents shoot 46.8 percent from the field. Buddy Hield is leading the Kings with 20.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. De’Aaron Fox is adding 19.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game.
Thunder heating up
Oklahoma City is riding a four-game winning streak right now following a 124-122 win at Chicago on Tuesday. They are 3-1 against the spread in the win streak. OKC is 36-22 on the season, 19-12 at home, 38-20 against the spread and 29-28-1 with the under.
The Thunder is putting up 111.2 points per game on offense this season, while shooting 47.4 percent from the field. Defensively, OKC is giving up 108.1 points per game while opponents shoot 45.7 percent from the floor. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is leading the team with 19.4 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Danilo Gallinari and Dennis Schroder are each averaging over 19 points per game as well.
NBA Betting Trends
Sacramento
The Kings are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven road games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a win.
Oklahoma City
The Thunder are 19-8 against the spread in their last 27 games following a win and 22-9 ATS in their last 31 games playing on 1 day of rest.
Prediction:
These two have split the first two meetings this season, but the Thunder covered both games in Sacramento. The Thunder and Kings are both playing well right now, but Oklahoma City has been the more consistent team and the Thunder are at home. Sacramento had a nice win at the Clippers, but I can’t trust them to go to OKC and be competitive. They lost by double digits at Dallas and Milwaukee just before the break. I think the OKC defense will be able to swarm Sacramento and cruise to a big win.
NBA Prediction: Oklahoma City Thunder -7
