Bulls vs. Hornets Pick
Oddsmakers at sports book YouWager have made the Hornets a 10.5-point favorite on the spread line, while the total is set at 218 points.
Charlotte opened as a 10-point favorite before the line was bumped up to 11. The total has risen after opening at 216.5. While it appears the line has settled at 10.5 at most books, the total can still be found at 217 or 217.5 depending on which book you shop.
As of Tuesday afternoon, 53 percent of public bets have been placed on the Hornets. Online wager info also states that 56 percent of bets are coming in on the over.
INJURY TO WATCH
Bulls small forward Paul Zipser has missed the last two games with a foot injury and is questionable for tonight's contest. As for Charlotte, there are no injuries to report.
Chicago was hammered last night to the tune of 104-87 at Brooklyn, which was actually closer than the 122-104 defeat at the Timberwolves two days earlier. It's no secret the Bulls are going through a youth movement and having growing pains along the way. But even on the back-to-back, I like their chances to stay within the number tonight at Charlotte. For one, Zach LaVine was held out of last night's game for rest purposes. Secondly, Chicago has already won both meetings straight up this season and has won four in a row overall straight up and ATS in the series. Side with the Bulls here as the spread seems a little too large in favor of a Hornets team only 27-33 on the season.
