NBA 3-Point Contest Odds

HOUSTON, TX (TheSpread) – The top shooters from beyond the arc will compete in the NBA Foot Locker 3-Point Contest on Saturday. Here is a look at the odds to win this event.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Golden State’s Stephen Curry and New York’s Steve Novak are the favorites, as each has 5/2 odds to win this contest. Other short odds to win are Cleveland’s Kyrie Irving (4/1) and New Orleans’ Ryan Anderson (4/1).

Curry is competing for the second time. He last entered the event in 2010. Curry is second in the NBA in 3-pointers made at 149. He is shooting 44.7 percent from beyond the arc this season.

Novak is competing in the 3-point contest for the first time. Novak has hit 96 3-pointers this year for the Knicks and is shooting 44.7 percent from beyond the arc.

Irving is competing in this for the first time in his career. Irving has made 82 3-pointers this season in 42 games. He is shooting 42.5 percent from 3-point land.

Anderson competed in this event last year, but didn’t win. Anderson has made the most 3-pointers in the league this season. He has sank a total of 159 and is shooting 40.2 percent from 3-point land.

Bet on NBA All-Star Weekend Odds

The 3-point shootout will be part of NBA All-Star Saturday Night, this Saturday, at 7PM ET from the Toyota Center in Houston. The event will air live on TNT. For the odds for each competitor to win this year’s NBA Foot Locker 3-Point Contest, see below.
