NBA All-Star Game Total Jumps in Vegas
The total for this weekend’s NBA All-Star Game has reached a whopping number in Las Vegas.
At the Westgate Superbook, William Hill and Stations Casinos in Vegas, the over/under for Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game is now sitting at 315.5 after opening at 305. The number hasn’t reached as high at the MGM Mirage, where it’s 312.5, but it’s hard to imagine the total not climbing higher with the game not set to tip-off until 8:00PM ET on Sunday night.
For reference, the over/under of last year’s All-Star Game went off at 299.5 points before tip-off. The over covered easily for bettors as the Western Conference edged the East, 163-158.
In 2014, the total was 291 at tip-off and the over cashed that year as well, as the East beat the West 163-155. You’d have to go back to the 2013 NBA All-Star Game for the last time the under hit, as the combined score fell under the total of 295 in a Western Conference 143-138 victory.
As far as the point spread for Sunday’s exhibition game, the West opened as a 6-point favorite but that number is down to 5.5 at multiple Vegas books. According to oddsmakers from online sports book RealBet.eu, the West is a 5-point favorite over the East while the over/under is sitting at 315.0.
