Heat vs. Nuggets Prediction
The Nuggets will attempt to avoid losing their fourth straight game on Monday night when they host the Heat at 9:00 p.m. ET from Pepsi Center. Laying double-digit points as a home favorite, will Denver also cover the spread if it snaps its skid?

Our NBA Live Odds page pulls spreads and totals from multiple different online sportsbooks so you can compare betting odds to ensure you’re getting the best line.
Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Nuggets are 10-point favorites to beat the Heat. The total, meanwhile, sits at 212.5 points and as of this writing, 71% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Nuggets to cover the point spread.
Miami Heat Fantasy Spin
Hassan Whiteside played just 22 minutes, but hit 6-of-11 shots for 13 points, 12 rebounds and three assists in Sunday’s tough loss to the Warriors. Whiteside, who has been more vocal in the locker room while trying to take on more of a leadership role, has now double-doubled in five straight games, all of them coming in February. Bam Adebayo had eight points, 11 rebounds, a steal and two blocks tonight, but Whiteside’s the guy you want to own in the middle for the Heat. Especially since Adebayo hadn’t done much in his previous three games.
Denver Nuggets Fantasy Spin
Nikola Jokic notched his 11th triple-double of the season on Friday, scoring 27 points (11-of-22 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs) with 10 rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes against the 76ers. Jokic was one of five Nuggets to dish out 5+ dimes in this close loss in Philly. He now also has six triple-doubles in his last 10 games, averaging 23.5 points, 12.4 boards, 8.4 dimes, 1.9 steals and 1.0 triples on 53% shooting in the time frame. Jokic is an All-Star and a top-10 fantasy player.
NBA Betting Trends
Miami
The Heat are 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games when their opponent scores 100 points or more in their previous contest.
Denver
The Nuggets are 1-5 against the number in their last six games when their opponent allows 100 points or more in its previous contest.
Prediction
Despite rattling off a few losses of late, I like Denver to rebound tonight at home. The Nuggets are 20-8 against the spread in their last 28 home games, are 6-1 against the number in their last seven home games following a road trip of seven or more days, and are 4-1 against the number in their last five home games versus an opponent with a winning road record. The Heat, meanwhile, are just 8-17 at the betting window in their last 25 games against the Nuggets and have dropped four of their last five games against the spread following an ATS win.
