Alan Williams is recovering from knee surgery and is out until late March. Brandon Knight is out for the season with a torn ACL. For Memphis, Ben McLemore sat out the last game with knee soreness but is probably to play tonight. Deyonta Davis is questionable with soreness in both knees. Tyreke Evans has missed the last two games with flu-like symptoms and is questionable tonight. Jarell Martin missed the last game with knee and ankle injuries, leaving him questionable for tonight. Mike Conley III is out for the season with a heel injury. James Ennis III is out until early February with a calf strain. JaMychal Green is out until early February with a calf strain. Who the Trends Like: Phoenix is 2-5 ATS in its last seven meetings in Memphis. The over is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings in Memphis. Memphis is 6-1-1 ATS in its last eight games following a straight up loss.
Who We Like: Phoenix played Sunday afternoon, dropping a 113-102 decision at powerful Houston. This should be an easier challenge despite it being a back-to-back. The Grizzlies are riddled with injuries and if Evans misses another game, that makes matters even worse. I just can’t take Memphis as a favorite right now, no matter who the opponent. The Grizzlies have lost three out of four, albeit all to teams in the playoff picture. I think Devin Booker gets hot for the Suns and helps the visitors get the cover here. Phoenix is actually better on the road this season by a slight margin, going 9-16 straight up in those games compared to 8-17 at home.
