The featured game of the day has the surging Los Angeles Lakers hosting the New Orleans Hornets at 10:30PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Lakers are the clear favorite in the game, as they have odds of -7 points against the Hornets. The over/under total for the game has been set at 194.5 points. The Lakers are 19-25 on the season, 14-10 at home and 18-25-1 against the spread. New Orleans is 15-29 overall, 8-14 on the road and 24-20 against the spread. The Lakers have won six straight in this series, but the Hornets have covered the spread in two of their last three against the Lakers.

One of the other featured games on Tuesday has the Portland Trail Blazers hosting the Dallas Mavericks at 10PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, Blazers are the slight favorite at home, as they have odds of -2.5 points against the Mavericks. The over/under total for this game has been set at 201.5 points. Portland is 22-22 overall, 15-8 at home and 20-22-2 against the spread. Dallas is 19-25 overall, 7-16 on the road and 24-20 against the spread. Dallas has won five of its last six against Portland, but the Blazers have covered the spread in three of their last four against the Mavericks.
