Wizards vs. Hawks Prediction
Will the over cash tonight when the Hawks host the Wizards at 8:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Hawks are 4-point home favorites versus the Wizards while the over/under currently sits at 212 points. While the point spread has yet to move, the total hit the board at 213.5 before dropping slightly to the current number of 212.
The Wizards are hot both on the court and at the betting window. They’re now 6-1 over their last seven games, covering in all seven of those contests. In their 123-108 win over the Celtics on Tuesday night, Bradley Beal hit 12-of-18 shots to rack up 31 points despite dealing with a sore foot. John Wall, meanwhile, hit 11-of-20 shots to finish with 27 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, three steals and a blocked shot.
The Hawks, meanwhile, have won three of their last four games and are coming off a 119-114 win at Chicago. In the win over the Bulls, Dennis Schroder scored 24 points, adding two rebounds, nine assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 33 minutes. Thabo Sefolosha also added 18 points with three rebounds, one steal and three 3-pointers in 33 minutes.

OUR PREDICTION: The Wizards have been a great bet over the past week and a half so if you want to continue riding that wave, nobody will blame you. I think there’s too much value in the over to pass on the total, however. The over is 17-7 in the last 24 meetings between these two teams and 10-2 in the last 12 meetings in Atlanta. The over is also 6-1 in the Hawks’ last seven games overall and has cashed in five of their last seven home games. On the other side, the over is 36-17 in the Wizards’ last 53 road games and 11-5 in their last 16 games versus an opponent with a winning record.
