Philly winning without Embiid

Philadelphia has been without its top player in Joel Embiid, but the 76ers have won four straight coming into tonight, covering the spread in three of the four wins. The 76ers are 29-16 on the season, 9-14 on the road, 19-22-4 against the spread and 23-21-1 with the under.

Offensively, Philly is putting up 108.7 points per contest while shooting 46.8 percent from the floor. The 76ers continue to be without Embiid, who is dealing with his hand injury. Embiid is averaging 23.4 points and 12.3 rebounds per game. Tobias Harris is leading the team right now with 19.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per contest, while Ben Simmons is putting up 16.0 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game.

Raptors win four straight as well

Toronto is on a four-game win streak right now as well following a 122-117 win at Atlanta on Monday. Three of the four wins have come on the road. Toronto is now 29-14 on the season, 15-7 at home, 24-19 against the spread and 22-20-1 with the over.

The Raptors are putting up 112 points per game on offense this year while shooting 45.3 percent from the field. Toronto is giving up just 106.2 points per game while opponents shoot only 42.7 percent against them. Pascal Siakam is leading the team this season with 23.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per contest. Kyle Lowry is adding 20.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game.

NBA Betting Trends

Philadelphia

The 76ers are 1-4-1 against the spread in their last six games as an underdog and 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight road games.

Toronto

The Raptors are just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games following a win, but 22-7 ATS in their last 29 games playing on 1 day of rest.

Prediction:

The home team has won and covered in both meetings between these two. Each is coming in playing pretty well right now. Philly has struggled with good defensive team as of late, but as a whole they have been playing pretty well without Embiid. Still, their opponents haven’t been the best of the best. Toronto has beaten up on some bad competition as well, but the Raptors have scored at least 122 in four straight and their defense is good enough to force Philly into being an outside shooting team.

NBA Prediction: Toronto Raptors -6.5
