Kristaps Porzingis (knee) is probable for Wednesday's game vs. the Hornets. KP was on track to make his regular-season debut on Monday, but that game got postponed when the Mavericks weren't able to field enough players to play the game. However, they're traveling with 12 guys to Charlotte today, so he should be able to get on the court for his debut tomorrow. Porzingis will likely have minutes restrictions as he's eased into things, so he won't be a great DFS target, but he should be safe to activate in season-long settings on Wednesday.
Charlotte Hornets DFS Spin
LaMelo Ball hit just 3-of-13 shots and 2-of-6 3-pointers on Monday but still finished with eight points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, three steals, a block and just one turnover in 30 minutes of a 109-88 win over the Knicks. He's now hit a career high in rebounds in three straight games and is coming off a game against the Hawks on Saturday when he became the youngest player in NBA history to triple-double and set (then) career highs of 22 points, 12 rebounds and 11 dimes. But perhaps the most incredible stat for LaMelo thus far is his lack of turnovers. He's averaging just 2.0 TOs per game and all of his numbers pop even more if you throw out his first game of the season, when he failed to score and committed three turnovers. James Wiseman looked like the Rookie of the Year out of the gates, but it now appears to be LaMelo's to lose.
