Celtics vs. Hawks Prediction
Are the Hawks worth a play tonight as a small home favorite when they host the Celtics at 8:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Hawks are 2.5-point home favorites versus the Celtics while the over/under is currently sitting at 212.5 points. While the point spread hasn’t moved, the total has dropped from 214 down to 212.5 at the majority of online and Vegas sports books.
Avery Bradley (Achilles) will not play versus the Hawks tonight and neither will Tyler Zeller (illness). Jaylen Brown (sprained ankle) is traveling with the team to Atlanta and so is Amir Johnson (ankle), but James Young did not. Young is currently dealing with an ankle injury and could be a few days away from returning to the court.
Dwight Howard recorded a double-double in the Hawks’ win over the Nets on Tuesday, finishing with 14 points and 16 rebounds. He was 6-of-9 from the field with one block. Dennis Schroder also scored 19 points with 10 assists while Taurean Prince played a career-high 20 minutes, scoring eight points on 2-of-6 shooting.
