The Bucks have won seven out of their last 10 games overall and are only laying a bucket on the road to the Hornets on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. ET. Is taking Milwaukee a trap bet or is the value too good on the Bucks to pass?

Giannis Antetokounmpo had a highly productive night in Saturday’s 114-106 loss to the Hornets, accumulating 43 points (11-of-20 FGs, 18-of-20 FTs), 12 rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks, and three 3-pointers in 37 minutes. Antetokounmpo had one of his best games of the season Saturday night, shooting better than 50% from the field while making half of his 3-point and 90% of his free throw attempts. After he struggled with foul trouble during Friday’s win over the Nets, fantasy managers had to love seeing this kind of effort from the two-time MVP. A top-20 player for the season, Antetokounmpo is providing 1st-round value over the last two weeks. Unfortunately, Giannis and the Bucks only have three games on the schedule for next week.

LaMelo Ball shot 8-of-19 from the field and 1-of-2 from the foul line in Saturday’s 114-106 win over the Bucks, accounting for 19 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 26 minutes. Due to foul trouble, Ball played just 26 minutes Saturday night, failing to surpass 30 for the third time in his last four games. It’s worth noting that, unlike the other two occasions, Ball was done in by early foul trouble this time around. Games against the Suns (January 2) and Pistons (January 5) were blowouts, so there was no need for James Borrego to extend his point guard too far. While ranked outside of the top-100 in 9-cat over the last two weeks, Ball is providing 1st-round value for the season as a whole. Managers who rushed to select him within the first 25 picks should pat themselves on the back if they haven’t done so already.
