Detroit Pistons Fantasy Spin
Andre Drummond tallied his 32nd double-double of the season Monday vs. the Spurs, finishing with 19 points (9-of-14 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), 14 rebounds four steals, two assists, one blocked shot and five turnovers on 37 minutes. Drummond extended his current streak of double-doubles to three, and he did so while shooting 9-of-14 from the field. If there was a negative for Drummond it’s the turnover court, with his tally of five being the most in a game for the 6’11 center since Detroit’s November 27 win over the Knicks. On the season as a whole he’s averaging just 2.4 turnovers per game, with that number being slightly higher (3.2 tpg) over the last five games.
Los Angeles Lakers Fantasy Spin
Kyle Kuzma (back) was back in the lineup Monday vs. the Mavericks, finishing with 13 points (4-of-20 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), five rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes. Kuzma was not on a minutes restriction after missing two games due to a lower back contusion, which is positive news, but he struggled to get going offensively. The 4-of-20 night was the worst of Kuzma’s season to date, but given his overall track record it’s highly unlikely that this becomes the norm. The Lakers return to action Wednesday night vs. the Pistons, and it would come as no surprise of the second-year forward had a much better night shooting the basketball.
