Bulls seek to end skid

Chicago is riding a four-game losing streak right now following a 118-110 loss at Dallas on Monday night. The Bulls are 0-3-1 against the spread in the four games. The Bulls are 13-24 on the season, 6-11 on the road, 18-18-1 against the spread and 19-18 with the under.

The Bulls have struggled on offense this year, scoring 105.8 points per game while shooting 43 percent from the field. Defensively, Chicago is allowing 107.2 points per game while opponents shoot 45.7 percent against them. The Bulls have some injuries to deal with as Otto Porter Jr. and Wendall Carter Jr. are both out tonight. Zach LaVine is leading the Bulls with 23.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. Lauri Markkanen is adding 15.4 points and 6.7 rebounds per contest.

Pelicans on a cover streak

New Orleans is coming off a 128-126 loss at home to the Jazz on Monday, but the Pelicans are 6-0-1 against the spread in their last seven games while going 5-2 straight up. New Orleans is 12-25 on the season, 6-12 at home, 16-19-2 against the spread and 19-18 with the over.

The Pelicans are putting up 112.8 points per game on offense this season while shooting 44.8 percent from the field. Defensively, New Orleans is allowing 116.9 points per game while opponents shoot 46.8 percent from the floor. The Pelicans will be without Jrue Holiday tonight due to an elbow injury. NBA Betting Trends

Chicago

The Bulls are 6-1-1 against the spread in their last eight road games and 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a loss.

New Orleans

The Pelicans are 4-11 against the spread in their last 15 games as a home favorite and 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 games following a loss.

Prediction:

The Pelicans are on a nice run at the betting window and I think it will continue tonight. Chicago has been struggling for a while and they won’t have their full compliment of scoring and rebounding options. New Orleans has done a nice job of coming together with their roster of castaways and its starting to take shape. They have really looked strong at home, getting wins over the Pacers and Rockets while covering against the Jazz. I don’t see the Bulls being a problem.

NBA Prediction: New Orleans Pelicans -4
