LONG POND, Pa. (AP) – Rain halted the NASCAR Trucks Series event at Pocono Raceway after 17 laps Saturday, with racing scheduled to resume Sunday before the Sprint Cup event.
Parker Kligerman was leading when the 125-mile race on the 2.5-mile tri-oval was halted.
Feuding stars Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch started on the front row. Harvick will start 10th and Busch 19th when racing resumes Sunday, scheduled for 9 a.m., followed by the ARCA race that also was rained out Saturday.
The 500-mile Sprint Cup race is scheduled to start at its regular time of 1 p.m., with Joey Logano on the pole.
Sunday’s forecast calls for a 60 percent chance of rain.
