NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Picks: Can-Am 500 11/13/16

The Can-Am 500 takes place later today. Which drivers will be the ones to advance in the Chase? Here’s our picks for potential winners today.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Kevin Harvick is favored heavily, as he is getting odds of +150 to win. Other short odds to win are Kyle Busch (+650), Denny Hamlin (+800) and Joey Logano (+800). The Can-Am 500 takes place today at 2:45PM ET from Phoenix International Raceway in Avondale, AZ.

Bet on the Can-Am 500

Kevin Harvick is heavily favored because he has to win to make the final race next week and he comes to a track where he has dominated. Harvick has eight wins in his career at Phoenix with an average finish of 10.3 at the track and a driver rating of 111.2. Needing the win, expect Harvick to be aggressive and tough to stop.

Kyle Busch is in the fourth spot, but not by much. He could use a strong performance today, and better yet, a win to secure his spot in next week’s final race. Busch has won at Phoenix before and has an impressive driver rating here of 98.3. Look for Busch to be in the mix with Harvick.

Denny Hamlin also is in need of a win and he has some pretty solid numbers at Phoenix as well. He is a one-time winner with an average finish of 11.0 and a driver rating of 95.2. Hamlin may have a tough time getting past Harvick, but if the No. 4 crashes or falls out of the mix, Hamlin can take advantage.
