AVONDALE, AZ (TheSpread) – Denny Hamlin was fastest in qualifying on Friday night, putting him in pole position or the Quicken Loans Race for Heroes 500.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Kevin Harvick is still favored to win this race, as he has 3/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Brad Keselowski (9/2), Jeff Gordon (8/1), and Joey Logano (8/1).

Harvick is currently eighth and last in the standings of the eight contending championship drivers. He is 18 points out of first and 6 points out of fourth place.
