Mountain Dew 250 Odds
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series heads to Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday night for the running of the Mountain Dew 250.
Kyle Busch is the favorite to win Saturday’s race with 3/2 odds to win according to oddsmakers at the online sports book Sportsbook.com. Other short odds to win are Todd Bodine (2/1), Ron Hornaday (11/2), and Timothy Peters (6/1).
Busch won this event last year and he has five wins in 12 races this year in the truck series.
Prior to Busch winning in 2009, Todd Bodine took the title in this race in 2008 and 2007 while Mark Martin won the inaugural event in 2006.
Bodine leads the point standings by 282 points over Aric Almirola. Bodine has four wins on the year and 15 top-5 finishes. Almirola has two wins on the year while Johnny Sauter is third in the standings, 370 points out of first. Almirola has 10/1 odds to win on Saturday while Sauter has 8/1 odds to win.
