Updated Sprint Cup Odds
The 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is down to 12 drivers in the Chase for the Championship. Which one will emerge as the winner?
According to oddsmakers at GTBets, Kevin Harvick is the favorite to claim the championship this year, as he has odds of +350 to win. Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth each have +500 odds to win. All drivers have been reset to 3000 points and the top 8 drivers after the next three races will advance to the next stage. A win automatically advances you to the field of 8. The next three races are the Bank of America 500 (Charlotte Motor Speedway), the Hollywood Casino 400 (Kansas Speedway) and the CampingWorld.com 500 (Talladega Superspeedway).
Harvick is the defending champion of the Sprint Cup Series. It was his first title last year. He has three wins on the year following Sunday’s victory. Harvick won the Bank of America 500 last year, he also won the Hollywood Casino 400 in 2013 and he is a three-time winner of the CampingWorld.com 500.
Busch has never won the Sprint Cup Championship, but he has four wins on the year coming into this stage. Busch has never won any of the three upcoming races.
Kenseth is a one-time Sprint Cup Champion, which came in 2003, and he has a series-best five wins on the year. Kenseth won the Bank of America 500 in 2011 and the Hollywood Casino 400 in 2012. He has yet to win the CampingWorld.com 500.
