Larson is starting the second stage of the Chase in 10th place. He is 49 points out of first and seven points out of the eighth place spot, where the cutoff is after the next three races. Larson has competed in nine races at Dover in his career. He is winless, but has an 8.1 average finish and a 100.8 driver rating.
