Busch picked up the big win by holding off fellow Chase contenders, Jimmie Johnson and Carl Edwards to get the checker flag. Busch led a total of 90 laps in the race.

According to oddsmakers, Busch had 12/1 odds to win the race, meaning a $100 wager on Busch to win will pay out an additional $1,200.

With his third-place finish, Edwards now joins Kevin Harvick in the lead for the points standings. Busch climbed up to third place, 9 points out of first alongside Tony Stewart, who won the first two races of the chase. Stewart finished 25th on Sunday while Harvick finished 10th.
