Busch gets the pole
WATKINS GLEN, NY (TheSpread) – Kyle Busch claimed another pole on Saturday, and he will start up front for Sunday’s Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen.
According to oddsmakers, Marcos Ambrose is still the favorite to win the race with 5/2 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Busch (7/2), Tony Stewart (6/1), and Juan Pablo Montoya (7/1).
Ambrose is considered a road course specialist, that is why is he is favored. He has never won at Watkins Glen, but has three top 5’s. Ambrose will start third for Sunday’s race.

Stewart has five wins at Watkins Glen in his career. His average finish is 5.4 while his driver rating is 129.6, which is tops in the series. Stewart is ninth in the point standings. He is winless, but has two top 5’s and eight top 10’s on the year. Stewart qualified seventh for Sunday’s race.
Montoya has one win at this track in his career and an average finish of 12.5. His driver rating at The Glen is 113.5, which ranks second to Stewart in the series. Montoya has had a tough season, as he is 21st in the current standings. He has two top 5’s and six top 10’s on the season. Montoya will start from the fifth position.
