Qualifying for the 2008 400 from Chicagoland Speedway was cancelled due to rain so Kyle Busch once again finds himself on the pole for Saturday’s race.

Busch, the current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Points Leader is also the odds to win favorite according to oddsmakers at several top online sports books. Busch has won 6 Sprint Cup Series races this season.

Carl Edwards (Ford) at 6/1, Jimmie Johnson (Chevrolet) at 7/1, Matt Kenseth (Ford) at 7.5/1 and Kasey Kahne (Dodge), Dale Earnhardt Jr.(Chevrolet) and Tony Stewart (Toyota) who are all listed at 8/1 round out the top 5 favorites according to oddsmakers.

Other notables this weekend are the three previous Chicagoland winners entered in this weekends field. Jeff Gordon listed at 10/1, Kevin Harvick who is a 2 time Chicagoland winner at 18/1 and Ryan Newman who won in 2003 at 33/1.

The 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup 400 will be held on Saturday July 12, 2008 at Chicagoland Speedway in Chicago, Illinois. Pre-race coverage begins at 6:30pm eastern on TNT and TNT HD.

The green flag will drop at approximately 7:45pm eastern, TV coverage will be provided by TNT and TNT HD. Radio coverage for the 2008 400 will be provided by the Motor Racing Network (MRN).
