STP 300 Odds
JOLIET, IL (TheSpread) – The NASCAR Nationwide Series heads to Chicagoland Speedway this week. While the rest of NASCAR is in Kansas, that hasn’t stopped some top drivers from competing in the STP 300.
This is the inaugural running of this event and according to oddsmakers at online sports book Bodog, Carl Edwards is the favorite to win this race with 3/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Kevin Harvick (2/1), and Brad Keselowski (4/1).
Edwards has competed in 13 Nationwide races this year and won three of those races. His average finish on the year is 8.8 and he has placed in the top two of his last three events.
Harvick has won at Chicagoland Speedway in the other Nationwide race. Harvick has competed in six Nationwide races this year, but is winless. His average finish is 15.8 and he has finished outside the top 15 in his last two outings.
Keselowski has driven in 13 Nationwide races this year and he is winless on the year with an average finish of 11.4. Keselowski has finished in the top 10 in 9 of the 13 races.
