Johnson wins NASCAR FedEx 400
DOVER, DE (The Spread) – Jimmie Johnson picked up his fourth victory of the season by winning the FedEx 400 on Sunday.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, Johnson had 9/2 odds to win Sunday’s race at Dover International Speedway, which put him behind only the favorite, Kevin Harvick (4/1). Johnson now has four wins on the season, with eight top 5 finishes and 440 points. He sits behind Harvick (516 points) and Martin Truex Jr. (472) in the Sprint Cup Points Standings.
Harvick wound up finishing second in today’s FedEx 400 while Kyle Larson finished third and Kasey Kahne finished fourth. Aric Almirola rounded out the top five, while Truex Jr., Jamie McMurray, Paul Menard, Clint Bowyer and Jeff Gordon finished in the top 10, in that order.
Next week NASCAR will head to Pocono Raceway for the Axalta ‘We Paint Winners’ 400 on Sunday, June 7.
