CONCORD, NC (TheSpread) – Brad Keselowski will start up front in the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday night as he won the pole position during this week’s qualifying.

According to oddsmakers at online sports book Carl Edwards is the favorite to win with 3/1 odds each while other short odds to win are Jimmie Johnson (5/1), Kyle Busch (7/1) and Denny Hamlin (8/1).

Edwards qualified third for Sunday night’s race and he currently leads the point standings by 24 points over Johnson. He has one win and six top 5’s in 11 starts. Edwards has never won at this track, but he did win last week’s All-Star Race. Edwards has an average finish of 13.1 and his driver rating at the track is 84.3.

Johnson will start sixth in Sunday’s race and he won this race in 2003-05. Johnson has one win on the year with four top 5’s. Johnson has six wins at Charlotte with an average finish of 9.8 and a driver rating of 114.7, which is the top rating of any driver in this series.

Busch will start 21st on Sunday night. Busch is third in the standings, 37 points out of first. He has two victories and six top 5’s on the year. At Charlotte, Busch has five top 5’s with an average finish of 16.6 and a driver rating of 108.2, which is the second-best rating in the series.

Hamlin qualified fourth for Sunday’s race. He has not won at Charlotte but has one top 5 and four top 10’s. His average finish at the track is 17.2 and his driver rating is 84.3. Hamlin is currently 13th in the point standings as he has one top 5 and three top 10’s on the season.
