Royal Purple 200 Odds
DARLINGTON, SC (TheSpread) – The 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series will compete at Darlington Raceway on Friday for the Royal Purple 200.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, Kyle Busch is the favorite to win the race with 2/1 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Denny Hamlin (5/2) and Carl Edwards (4/1).
Busch has not won this event but he has won four of the eight Nationwide races he has taken part in this year. His average finish this year is 9.6.
Hamlin is the defending champion of this race and he also won in 2007 and 2006. This year, Hamlin has driven in two Nationwide races, winning one of the two. His average finish on the year is fourth.
Edwards has not won this race but he does has two wins in nine Nationwide races this year. Edwards’ average finish is 10th, but he has finished outside the top 10 in two of his last three races.
