Royal Purple 300 Odds
FONTANA, CA (TheSpread) – The 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series returns to action on Saturday with the running of the Royal Purple 300 from Auto Club Speedway.
After sweeping the weekend races last week, Kyle Busch is the favorite to win against this week in the Nationwide series.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, Kyle Busch is favored to win with 1/1 odds while other short odds to win are Mark Martin (3/1) and Carl Edwards (3/1)
Busch has won this event the last two years and he has two wins in four races this year, finishing seventh in one other race.
Martin won this event in 2005 and he has a win in his only other Nationwide race of the year. Martin has four Nationwide wins in 32 career starts.
Edwards has never won this event and he has three top 10 finishes in the four Nationwide races this year. Edwards has 29 career wins over 215 starts in his Nationwide career.
