Harvick wins again in Phoenix
AVONDALE, AZ (TheSpread) – Kevin Harvick is seemingly unstoppable right now, as he claimed his second straight NASCAR victory on Sunday, winning the CampingWorld.com 500.
Harvick dominated the day once again, leading 224 of 312 laps, including the final one, finishing ahead of Jamie McMurray and Ryan Newman for first. Brad Keselowski also had a strong showing on the day, leading 52 laps before finishing in sixth place.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Harvick was the favorite to win this race entering the week, as he had 11/4 odds. This means that a wager of $100 on Harvick to win will pay out an additional $275.
Harvick has now won two of the four races this year in NASCAR. He is the leader in the standings by 22 points on the field. Joey Logano is second in the standings after finishing eighth on Sunday. Martin Truex Jr. is the surprise driver thus far, he is in third place, 27 points behind Harvick. He finished seventh on Sunday.
