Bashas' Supermarkets 200 Odds


AVONDALE, AZ (TheSpread) – The 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series kicks off the NASCAR weekend on Saturday with the running of the Bashas’ Supermarkets 200.

Oddsmakers have Kyle Busch as the favorite to win this race, as he has been given 3/1 odds to prevail. Other short odds to win the race are Denny Hamlin (4/1), Kevin Harvick (9/2), and Brad Keselowski (6/1).

Busch is the two-time defending champion of this race and he also won in 2008. Busch finished 18th in last week’s Nationwide race. Busch owns 51 wins in this series in 223 races. He has 40 wins over the last four seasons.

Hamlin has never won this race and he finished 32nd in last week’s Nationwide event. Hamlin owns 11 victories in 129 career races in this series.

Harvick won this race back in 2006. Harvick is making his first Nationwide appearance of the year in this race, but he has 34 career wins in the series in 245 races. He hasn’t won a Nationwide race since 2010.

Keselowski finished second in last week’s Nationwide race. He is a former series champion and he owns 17 wins in 169 career races. Keselowski has had at least four victories in the Nationwide series in the last three seasons.
