2011 Wins for Dale Earnhardt Jr.
(TheSpread) – Dale Earnhardt Jr. is hoping to finally have his breakout season during the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Season, but can Junior find a way to rack up some wins this year?
Oddsmakers at online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com have given Earnhardt Jr. over/under odds of 1.5 wins for the 2011 season. He must race in 33 events in order for the wager to be official.
Earnhardt Jr. struggled in 2010, finished 21st in the overall points standings as he went winless with just three top-5 finishes.
Earnhardt Jr. hasn’t won a race since the LifeLock 400 on June 15, 2008. Dale has just one win in three seasons with Hendrick Motorsports.
Following a six-win season in 2004, Dale Jr. has posted just three victories since. It is hard to see Earnhardt picking up two wins this year when he hasn’t won two in three years. You also have to consider that he is at best, third on the pecking order of Hendrick Motorsports, so he will always be fighting an uphill battle.
